Sulafa Mohammed is an artist based in Dubai. She is interested in what she calls the "Productive gap", the space where joining and separation coexist. This is not a gap of absence but an active threshold, an intersection where something can appear, and where creative freedom reveals itself. What draws her is not the unfinished. Unfinished things can still be completed. What draws her is the impossible, work structurally incapable of arriving at a final point. Every return to it is not a continuation but a new encounter, the moment one journey ends, the next has already begun.
